How do I schedule an appointment to get my wheels changed?

Once you find a workshop nearby, you must schedule a wheel change appointment. You can do this on My Page by scrolling down to 'Other products' and clicking on 'Car care'.

Who is eligible to schedule an appointment for a tyre change?

Remember that you can only schedule an appointment for a tyre change on the car(s) that you are the policyholder or have power of attorney. If your cohabitant is not a policyholder, you can grant them power of attorney for the car insurance on My Page.

Switching to winter tyres

When the weather gets colder, with temperatures dropping below 7 degrees Celsius, it's essential to change to winter tyres.

The transition to wintertime at the end of October can serve as a reminder to schedule a workshop appointment for a tyre change. Switching to winter tyres before it gets frosty outside is a smart move. Once it freezes, waiting for the workshop to switch from summer to winter tyres can be risky.

Switching to summer tyres

April is usually a good time to switch from winter to summer tyres. The likelihood of snow and ice on the roads is low, meaning the streets are ready for summer tyres.

However, it's essential to monitor the morning temperature, as it should be at least 7 degrees Celsius before switching to summer tyres.

Other countries – different rules

If you travel abroad, it's important to note that some countries have specific rules for using summer and winter tyres. For instance, in Sweden, winter tyres are required until March 31st.
