Ensuring the devices meet insurance requirements

Both of the chosen GPS devices meet our requirements for stolen vehicle compensation claims:

• The tracking device must be securely installed in the car or on the motorcycle.
• The tracking device must have a backup power source for at least 12 hours.
• The tracking device must be connected to a 24/7 manned alarm centre.

Ensure the GPS tracker is correctly installed

Correct installation of the GPS device is essential for insurance coverage.

• The device must always be active.
• You must have the device installed by an authorised installer and obtain an installation certificate as documentation.
