Please familiarize yourself with the most common changes on My Page for each insurance policy. While our insurance offerings continually evolve to meet your needs, the terms from your initial purchase typically remain unchanged.

Adjusting Your Insurance Amount

You can adjust your insurance amount on My Page to match your changing needs. The insurance amount determines the maximum compensation you can receive in case of a claim, and your compensation is directly linked to this amount. If the value of your belongings exceeds the insurance amount, you may be underinsured, which could lead to incomplete compensation for any accidents or damage. Use the self-service option to specify how much you want to increase your insurance amount.

 

Adding or Cancelling Coverage

Do you need additional coverage or want to change your existing policy? You can easily add new coverage through My Page. For example, with our travel insurance, you can:

  • Add cancellation coverage
  • Modify your travel insurance to cover the entire world instead of just Europe or vice versa

Conversely, if you have unnecessary coverage, you can often cancel it through the self-service system. This option applies to:

Changing Your Insurance Excess

Would you like to raise or lower your insurance excess? You can easily make this adjustment on My Page. Remember that changing your excess affects your insurance price—a higher excess results in a lower insurance cost.

 

Ensuring Coverage During an International Secondment

If you are going on a work secondment abroad, adjustments to your insurance are often necessary to protect your belongings and home during your time away. It is wise to contact us at 70 21 01 91 before your secondment to guide you through the essential changes required to maintain your coverage.

Additionally, opting for international family insurance with Tryg extends coverage to your items during your secondment abroad. Please note that your home contents insurance does not include this provision. The global family insurance protects personal belongings brought to EU/EEA countries (excluding Bulgaria, Malta, Cyprus, Romania, Greece, and Slovakia).

Updating Your Address

If you have moved to a new address or have a new phone number, we must have your updated contact information on record. You can send us your new address through our contact form.

Please note that changes made on My Page apply only to insurance policies managed in collaboration with Tryg. This access includes private insurance policies like building insurance, home contents insurance, travel insurance, and car insurance.
