Get extensive and affordable health insurance

The insurance covers preliminary and follow-up medical examinations concerning an accident or illness. 

You can reimburse the costs of examination, treatment and medication for an illness or accident.

Let's say, for instance, that you need surgery. The insurance will then cover the diagnostic examination - including X-rays, laboratory analysis, follow-ups and treatment.

The insurance covers cosmetic surgery if there is a need to reconstruct the breast after cancer or as a direct result of an accident. 

The insurance provides access to alcohol abuse treatment. The insurance covers up to two courses with a minimum gap of one year between them. 

Health insurance provides access to gambling addiction treatment, helping you to recover from compulsive gambling. You get access to two courses with a minimum gap of one year between them.  

Health insurance provides access to help if you have an eating disorder, such as anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating. You can get up to two courses with a minimum gap of one year between them.

The insurance provides access to a psychologist or psychiatrist with whom we cooperate. If you use this option, the therapist will assess how many consultations you need. On the other hand, if you choose an accredited psychologist or psychiatrist outside our network, you are entitled to 12 sessions of 60 minutes each. 

You can only get treatment in Denmark, Norway, Sweden or Finland. The insurance policy does not cover Greenland and the Faroe Islands treatment.

The insurance provides access to treatments from a physiotherapist, chiropractor or osteopath. Please note that the osteopath must be a member of MRODK (Members of registered osteopaths in Denmark).

You are entitled to therapeutic relief treatment if you have a chronic condition and the insurance policy is active. 

The insurance covers sequela following a prescribed treatment of chronic disease while the insurance policy is valid, providing that the insurance approves and covers the chronic condition. The insurance policy only covers therapeutic relief.

The insurance policy covers rehabilitation services for up to six months, including those provided by physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Additionally, the policy covers the expenses associated with prescribed tools, such as medication, walkers, and crutches.

You can get up to 10 hours of psychological first aid if you need crisis intervention.

The insurance policy covers recreational therapy after surgery for up to 30 days.

The insurance covers consultations with specialists, such as preliminary examination, treatment and follow-up.

The insurance covers transport costs, for instance, to and from a private hospital after surgery. The insurance also provides coverage for transportation to and from rehabilitation or aftercare.

You can get a second opinion if you are diagnosed with a life-threatening disease or suffer an injury. You are also entitled to a second opinion if you need an uncertain treatment for your condition. 

You are entitled to ten therapeutic sessions with a reflexologist or acupuncturist within one year. Please note that your therapist is an associated alternative therapist (Registreret Alternativ Behandler, RAB).

If you are abusing prescription drugs or hallucinogens, you can get help from your insurance to get back on track. We provide two courses of treatment with a minimum of one year break between the two series. 

The insurance provides coverage for 10 consultations with a dietitian if your BMI is 35 or higher and a maximum of five courses. You are then entitled to five series with a break no exciding one year between them. 

Do you need home care assistance, nursing, childcare, cleaning or shopping? The insurance covers up to 15 hours in connection with hospitalisation or surgery.
