IDA Travel Insurance provides coverage only for acute illnesses and injuries while you are on holiday. If you have a chronic condition, are pregnant, or have recently been ill, make sure your travel insurance covers your specific health needs.
It is advisable to take a health test before booking your trip. Tryg, in cooperation with Falck, offers a health test to determine if your health is sufficient for coverage under your travel insurance or if a medical assessment is necessary. Should the test require more information about your health, you will be prompted to contact Falck Global Assistance, which will perform a preliminary medical assessment to establish your insurance policy coverage.

If you are pregnant, have taken the health test, and have coverage, IDA Travel Insurance will cover health emergencies or injury costs during your trip. However, check your airline's pregnancy regulations before your flight, as these may vary, and some airlines may require a medical certificate.
You can add cancellation coverage to your policy should you wish to cancel your trip due to emergencies. This coverage also applies if your doctor has health concerns about your pregnancy, especially if there's a risk of premature birth.
