Motorhome Insurance: Your peace of mind on vacation

By taking this optional coverage, you avoid paying excess if damage to the motorhome is due to - for example:

• Fire, lightning and explosion
• Theft, robbery and vandalism
• Falling objects
• Collision with animals
• Replacement of lens and mirror glass
•  If your windshield has a small crack or chip caused by a stone or debris.

If it is necessary to replace a windshield, your excess is DKK 3,000 (2020)

You can only take this optional cover with comprehensive coverage.

Roadside assistance helps you with, among other things, on-site start-up assistance, towing, further transportation of the driver and passengers, as well as assistance in the event of illness or injury while driving.

You can purchase this option together with both Liability and Comprehensive cover.

Suppose your motorhome is legally parked and accidentally damaged in a parking lot. In that case, you can avoid paying any insurance excess up to a maximum of DKK 15,000. This coverage applies when your motorhome is legally parked and the damage occurred while you were away, such as in a hit-and-run accident.

To add this coverage, you require comprehensive coverage, which does not apply to leased motorhomes.

We recommend this option if you have installed additional equipment in your motorhome for more than DKK 30,000. As for other equipment, please look at the following parts:

• Electronic equipment
• Chassis and engine swap
• Leather Interior
• Sun, panorama and sliding roofs

Additional equipment or accessories do not include towing hitches and safety equipment.
