Ensure your cat’s well-being with affordable cat insurance

Suppose your cat has a health condition, and a veterinarian prescribes physical treatment or rehabilitation. In that case, you may get coverage for the expenses. It could include physical therapy, chiropractic therapy, laser therapy, or acupuncture.

You can obtain insurance for your cat's dental treatment expenses and medications prescribed by the veterinarian, neck collars, and bandages. This coverage includes conditions such as:

• gum and root inflammation
• toothaches
• and root fillings.

The insurance also covers tooth resorptions, a widespread dental and oral cavity disease in cats (often abbreviated TR or FORL).

Suppose you, your partner, or your child under 18 are hospitalised or passed away. In that case, you can ensure that your cat receives proper care by placing them in an animal shelter or private facility. Your insurance will cover up to 30 days of care upon hospitalisation and 60 days upon death. The insurance also covers transportation for drop-off and pick-up to and from the care centre.

If you travel with your feline companion, prepare for unexpected emergencies by covering potential expenses such as admission and treatment at animal hospitals in foreign countries.

Pet travel buddy covers, for example, the following:

• Euthanasia and cremation.
• Accommodation for an extended stay for one person and accompanying children under 18 if there are no other travellers over 18.
• In the unfortunate event of baggage theft during travel, replacing any certificates inside the stolen luggage may be necessary.
• Medical treatment, neck support, and wound dressing may be necessary due to a disease, illness, or accident.

This option allows three months to travel in EU/EEA countries, including the Faroe Islands and Greenland. We strongly advise that you always carry Travel Insurance with you, as it covers the cost of your dog's care if you need hospitalisation abroad.

If your cat passes away or the vet needs to put it to sleep, the insurance will provide coverage. For indoor cats, the insurance will cover the cost of a kitten with the same breed and pedigree or up to the amount you select when purchasing the insurance. For outdoor cats, the terms vary, but the policy only provides 50% of the coverage if a collision causes death or euthanasia.
