Student accident insurance

The insurance policy will provide coverage if you experience permanent physical disability due to an accident resulting in a disability of 5% or more. It includes injuries such as falling off a bicycle, getting stung by an insect, accidentally being pricked by a needle and even childbirth.

This policy covers permanent psychological trauma resulting from an accident involving you or a member of your immediate family.

The insurance policy covers you for all kinds of sports, including motorcycle driving.

It covers the cost of transportation from the accident site to the nearest medical facility.

This insurance policy covers treatments from various healthcare professionals such as physiotherapists, chiropractors, reflexologists, acupuncturists, osteopaths, and craniosacral therapists in the event of an accident.

The coverage lasts up to 12 months or until the severity of the disability is determined. Additionally, the policy also covers up to 20 hours of psychological therapy.

If your death results from an accident, your survivors will be eligible for compensation.

The insurance offers a lump sum payment in the event of an accidental bone fracture, torn cruciate ligament (partially or wholly), or complete Achilles tendon tear.

It covers the following cases of bone fractures:

• Collarbone
• Shoulder
• Upper and forearm
• Elbow
• Middle hand (the part of the hand between the wrist and the fingers)
• Back
• Pelvis
• Hip thigh, and lower legs
• Midfoot (the part of the foot between the ankle and the toes)

Immediate compensation is not available in the following cases:

• Fractures of fingers and toes
• Isolated ligament injuries
• Bones and skeletal parts other than those mentioned
• Meniscus lesion of the knee

This insurance policy offers higher compensation for specific instances such as amputation, loss of sight or hearing.

In the case of a permanent injury of 30% or more caused by an accident, the insurance will provide double the compensation.

This insurance policy covers dental treatment expenses required due to an accident.

In the case of chewing injuries, we cover 50% of the cost of treatment.
