What is Group Life Insurance?
Group life insurance provides financial protection for you and your family by covering both critical illnesses and death. It ensures peace of mind and security when life takes an unexpected turn.
Do You Need to Fill Out a Health Declaration?
Yes. When you take out group life insurance for yourself and your family, you must provide information about your health. You can easily answer our health-related questions using the online insurance calculator.

When Are You Not Entitled to Compensation?
Your insurance covers many critical illnesses, giving you peace of mind that you're protected. However, there are situations where coverage does not apply:
Pre-existing conditions: If you were diagnosed with an illness before you took out the insurance policy, it will not be covered.
Waiting period: The first three months after you start your policy count as a waiting period, so we do not cover any diagnoses made during this time.
Repeated diagnoses: If you are diagnosed with the same type of illness again, you will not receive compensation. Special rules apply in the case of cancer.
What Amount of Compensation Will You Receive?
Check your payout by age: See details here for both high and low coverage levels.
How Long Does Group Life Insurance Cover You?
You can take out life insurance until the day before your 66th birthday. The policy remains valid until the last day of the month in which you turn 67.
If you end your IDA membership, your coverage will stop at the end of that calendar year.
