Comprehensive covers damage to your company car in the event of theft, fire, lightning, and explosion.The insurance also covers:
  • Breakdown cover abroad: You will receive assistance if your company car cannot start or you are involved in an accident abroad.
  • Legal aid: You can get help if the court needs to decide who is at fault in an injury situation.
  • Misfuelling: You will receive help if you accidentally put the wrong fuel in the car.
  • Car keys cover: Assistance will be provided to unlock or tow the car to the nearest workshop.
  • Courtesy vehicle: A loaner car will be available if your company car needs repair.
  • Car repair delay cover: Compensation will be provided if your company car is in the workshop for over two days.
  • Driver in a solo accident: Compensation will be given if you drive the company car and are injured in a solo accident.

You can choose an excess of DKK 5,000 or 7,500. The excess applies regardless of the size of the damage, providing financial coverage for both significant and minor accidents.

How do I get the red card?

As a business car insurance policyholder, you are eligible for a "red card," which provides international roadside assistance. The red card is not an exclusion but rather a benefit of comprehensive coverage.The red card proves that you can receive roadside assistance while travelling abroad. It can be easily downloaded and printed as a map, although obtaining help is unnecessary. However, you must have the car's registration certificate to receive assistance.In the event of an accident during a business trip abroad, you should contact SOS International's alarm centre at +45 70 10 50 52.

What should I do if I sell my business car?

If you sell your business car, the new owner is covered by your liability or comprehensive coverage for up to 3 weeks after the purchase if the new owner does not take out car insurance themselves.Liability coverage is mandatory for car owners and cannot be cancelled by the owner. The insurance will only be terminated once you register your car at SKAT.If you buy a new business car privately, register it at SKAT.
