Familiarise yourself with the most common changes available on My Page for each insurance. While our insurance policies continually evolve to meet your needs, the terms from your initial purchase typically remain unchanged.

Adjusting your insurance amount

Enjoy the flexibility to align your insurance sum on My Page with your changing needs. The insurance sum determines the maximum compensation you can receive in case of a claim, with your compensation directly linked to this sum.

If the value of your belongings exceeds the insurance sum, there's a risk of being underinsured, potentially leading to incomplete compensation for accidents or damage. 

Utilise the self-service option to specify the desired increase in your insurance sum.

Adding or cancelling coverage

Need additional coverage or want to make changes? Easily add new coverage through My Page. 

For example, for our travel insurance, you can:

  • Add a cancellation refund to your travel insurance
  • Modify your travel insurance to cover the entire world instead of just Europe, or vice versa

Conversely, if you find unnecessary coverage, you can often cancel it yourself through the self-service system.

Changing your insurance excess by yourself

Do you want to raise or lower your insurance excess? You can easily do that yourself on My Page.

Keep in mind that adjusting your excess affects your insurance price – a higher excess results in a cheaper insurance cost.

Ensuring coverage during secondment

If you're embarking on a work secondment abroad, adjustments to your insurance are often necessary – for your time away and the protection of your belongings and home.

Contacting us at 70 21 01 91 before your secondment is a wise step. We'll guide you through the essential changes required to keep you covered.

Moreover, bear in mind that opting for international family insurance with Tryg extends coverage to your items during your secondment abroad. Notably, your home contents insurance doesn't include this provision. The international family insurance safeguards personal belongings brought to EU/EEA countries (excluding Bulgaria, Malta, Cyprus, Romania, Greece, and Slovakia).

Change of address

If you've moved to a new address (or have a new phone number, etc.), it's crucial that we have your updated residence on record. You can send your new address to us via our contact form.

Please note that changes on My Page are applicable only to insurances collaboratively managed with Tryg. This includes personal insurance policies like building insurance, home contents insurance, travel insurance, and car insurance. 

For insurances handled by TopDanmark, such as supplemental unemployment insurance, log in to their dedicated self-service solution.
