I’m a student
Being a student is an exciting, but also busy time. Books, lectures, assignments and social activities take up most of your life, so when would you actually have time to think about insurance?
We know that insurance isn’t the most exciting thing in the world, but it's still worth keeping a track of. If your smartphone is stolen, your computer is damaged or you get hurt, being insured is a big plus.
Which insurances do I need?
How you should be insured depends on your needs and situation. Most young people tend to be covered by buying:
- Home contents insurance
- Travel insurance
- Accident insurance
We offer home contents insurance, travel insurance and accident insurance at a student rate, which you can use until you turn 30, even if you haven’t finished studying. You can of course also buy our other insurances, which like our student insurances, are probably some of Denmark’s cheapest.
What happens with my insurance when I finish my studies?
For us to give you the best advice, we would like to hear from you once you have finished your studies. Call us so we can assess your new situation and recommend the right insurance for you. You can also write and tell us that you have finished your studies.
Think about whether your needs have changed. Perhaps you are moving from student digs to your own apartment? Maybe you want to buy a car? When your life changes, so do your insurance needs. If you need personal advice, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
You can also try our online needs guide, which helps you assess your own needs.
For those with accident insurance
It is essential you tell us when you start work. Your new job may affect your accident insurance – both in relation to cover and price.
How long do I get my student discount?
You will get a student discount for your home contents, travel and accident insurance until you turn 30, even if you have finished your studies. After that, you’re still likely to get Denmark’s cheapest insurance, despite not having a student discount. The cover will be the same.
